Janet Kuypers reads her poetry in the “December 2017 Book Release Reading” live at Half Price Books 12/6/17 in Austin

December 6th marked a December 2017 Book Release Reading of new books from Scars Publications, which saw the release of the books “Flawed Cadaver” from cc&d magazine; and “the Lighthouse” from Down in the Dirt magazine. In his reading, Janet Kuypers read performance art poetry material from the show Akitu that appeared in cc&d magazine’s book, and haiku as well as poetry from “the Lighthouse”.     Because it was an end-of-the-year reading at this feature poetry reading event, Janet Kuypers also read material from the 2017 Scars Publications collection books that were recently released, and was able to share poems, haiku poems and one piece of flash fiction from the poetry and prose collection anthology “On a Rainy Day” and the poetry and flash fiction collection anthology “Negative Space”.     Because there was time during this feature poetry reading event, Janet Kuypers also read material from from her 2017 book releases “(pheromemes) 2015-2017 show poems” and “(pheromemes) 2015-2017 poems” as the finale readings to the Community Poetry © Half Price Books reading in Austin.     There is also a YouTube playlist of the videos of this show, and there are also two additional web page listings for the videos from this show — one is at Scars Video (at www.artvilla.com/scars), and the other is from the main listing at artvilla.     Below are video and writing links to the live performance of poetry readings from December 6th 2017 (12/6/17, or 20171206) at Half Price Books in Austin for the Community Poetry © Half Price Books event.
