A Happy Ending To Everything every time I look at my hands when I go out now I look at the rings on my middle fingers and they’re reminders of your jewels             you gave to me when you found out you were going to die it’s not as though I need reminders of what’s happening to my mother but now, someone compliments me on the huge blue topaz stone on my center ring and I smile, and say thank you and say “my mother gave this to me” and not explain why I don’t bother with the details because you want everyone to think there’s a happy ending to everything as well there should be Copyright Janet Kuypers.
