poem “Gadolinium, Save us from Our Mistakes”, a Twitter-length Periodic Table poem for the element Gadolinium (#64, Gd) about how, since the reactor building after the Chernobyl disaster they surrounded radioactive areas in a building that turned out to be porous that let water in - though this water was good at slowing the radioactive uranium & plutonium fission reactions - but now that there is better protection around Chernobyl reactor building, there is no water, so to slow the fission reactions they must add a Gadolinium nitrite to soak up all the pesky neutrons, By Chicago Poet Janet Kuypers

Protector walls post-nuclear Chernobyl
were porous, let water in
oops
but that’s good
when subreactor room 305/2 was “fiss”ing,
radioactive uranium & plutonium fission
reactions were slowed by water
Now w/ better seals & no more water,
Gadolinium must now sop up pesky neutrons
