Seven and Seven, plus EighteenI know I’m supposed to be the creative onebut I started my schooling in computer science engineering if I ever write anything, it’s not creative, it’s what makes sense which is what I feel
I say I’m a writer
and if I wrote something
but I want to do this for you
if I were a painter
what am I saying
maybe I’m not an artist
so maybe I’m not a writer
what makes my tie to you so concrete
you wondered why I love tall buildings maybe my tie is so much more concrete than art
I travel around the world
I fly in airplanes
and when I’m on the ground
so maybe I’m meant to be an astronomer
Pluto is an aberrant ball of ice
the Kuiper Belt #
we were outside at night in fair hope
molecule by molecule,
and now I know we are all linked,
but outer space
and in all this madness
I’m not a writer,
yes, in all this madness
and it’s as if the Gods are paying me back for everything
and with you I have walked on the tops of glaciers
with you I have watched solar storms
and what has man done
as I said before,
and with these observations, #
I heard a country song
and I thought, if one of us left this earth
once our spirits found each other
I’ve seen galaxies collide
as I said, I’m only an observer
so I’ll tighten my grip on your hand
