Curium’s radioactive                           glitter Janet Kuypers 11/30/21 Twitter-length Periodic Table poem for element #96, Curium (Cm) #janetkuyperstwitterverseperiodictablepoem on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr Berkeley physicist Al Ghiorso, known to bat around radioactively-filled tennis balls, once overloaded a particle accelerator with helium bombarding a Curium filter, swelling the Curium filter ‘til it popped like a balloon of radioactive glitter. He ducked, and all were evacuated.
