ancient purities in glacial meltwater
now released after millennia
with no industry, pollution
stuns us
when annual samples studied
match massive masses of Mercury
Mercury’s from volcanoes, pollution
so stopping coal mining’s not enough
Mercury in earth’s past can poison us too
